Brookside at the Rose Bowl
Brookside is one of those L.A. golf spots that feels almost too cinematic to be public: two courses tucked into Pasadena, the San Gabriel Mountains in the background, and the Rose Bowl sitting right there like it accidentally became part of the routing.
The twilight round is the move. You get that soft Pasadena light, the temperature drops, and suddenly a normal muni round feels like a scene. I went with friends and someone fully shanked their drive into the Rose Bowl. Not near it. Into it. That is the kind of course memory Casa Club was made for.
